Does it hurt? This peel is left on for 1-2 minutes. During this time, the client will feel a tingling sensation that can mimic a slight burning sensation.

Chemical peels, also called “chemical exfoliation” can reduce and/or improve fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, uneven skin coloring and other skin imperfections. The controlled chemical exfoliation prompts skin regeneration and skin remodeling leaving the skin feeling smooth and improved texture. PSMA uses the SkinBetter Chemical Peel system in 2 different levels: 30 (beginner) and 50 (advanced). Every client starts off at the beginner peel and work their way up to advanced, if needed.

Note that this product contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. As a result, you are HIGHLY at risk of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using the product and for at least a week after treatment. The product does contain retinoids in a topical form.

Radiesse, when hyper diluted, turns into an amazing biostimulator creating not only collagen, but also helps with skin elasticity and texture. It is made from calcium hydroxylapatite that helps your body produce collagen naturally. Places radiesse is used: temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, neck (my favorite) and the hands.
