  • Wash or replace pillow cases the night of service to avoid infection.
  • If you are prone to cold cores, please contact me as soon as possible so I can start you on a prescription medicine to prevent cold sores. Microneedling has a post-procedure risk of cold sore flare-ups. 9/10 clients who are prone to cold sores will develop a cold sore!

Pre- Appointment

  • AFTER 3 HOURS POST TREATMENT, GENTLY RINSE FACE WITH WATER ONLY TO CLEAN SKIN OF DRIED PRODUCTS OR GO TO SLEEP WITHOUT WASHING YOUR FACE AT ALL. WHICHEVER IS MOST COMFORTABLE WITH YOU.
  • Day 1: You can expect redness of the skin similar to a bad sunburn. Some bruising may occur with pinpoint bleeding at the surface of the skin. Puffy, swollen skin may occur. The skin may feel tight and dry.
  • Day 2: Your skin will be pink, how you’d look on day 2 after a bad sunburn. Bruising may start to lighten.
  • Day 3: Skin may or may not appear light pink, but near normal hues. Swelling is subsiding as well as bruising.
  • Day 4-6: Minimal swelling. Any remaining bruising will take a few more days to return to normal.

  • Avoid the use of aspirin, motrin, ibuprofen, warfarin or other anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications for 1-2 weeks if okay with your primary physician. These medications can increase the risk of bruising. For mild pain or headaches, Tylenol is preferred.
  • You may have some bruising and/or swelling after the procedure. Over the counter Arnica supplements (available at most Walgreens, Rite-aids, etc) have been shown to decrease bruising if you want to take them starting 3-5 days before your treatment. Arnica gel and ice are recommended after treatment to continue to help reduce bruising. Ice packs will help with swelling and bruising as well!
  • The ideal time to schedule this procedure is at LEAST 4-6 weeks before a big event.
  • Reduce alcohol intake to avoid increase swelling and bruising.
  • Do not exercise the day of receiving filler/sculptra/radiesse.
  • Do not wear makeup for the rest of the day & do not use any used makeup products for 1-2 days where you received filler. Only use new/clean makeup & brushes for the 1-2 days following injections.
  • LIP FILLER CLIENTS: if you are prone to cold sores, YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW! I will prescribe you a medication that prevents cold sores from surfacing to your lips/skin. You need to take it the day before, the day of your treatment, and the day after. If you do not tell me, I may not perform the service and you may be charged a late cancellation fee. 9/10 clients will break out in cold sores if you are prone to getting cold sores. Don’t risk it!! Let me know ASAP! Please only use the lip balm I give you post injection for the rest of the day and the next day!

Pre- Appointment

  • For sculptra/radiesse treatments, you have to massage your face anywhere between 3-5 times a day for 3-5 minutes for 3-5 days post treatment. We will discuss how to do this properly during your appointment • If you are pregnant or breast feeding, please cancel your appointment as it is an extreme contraindication due to no studies being done on the effects of filler on pregnant or lactating women.
  • Watch for signs of adverse effects within the next 1-24 hours:

  •  Do not have facial hair waxed/lasered 48 HOURS prior to each peel treatment. Avoid facial hair shaving/dermaplaning 8 HOURS before each peel treatment
  • If you have recently undergone any other facial treatment procedures, such as microdermabrasion, microneedling, dermaplaning, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, botox, dermal fillers, facial surgery, etc skin must be completely healed and normalized before receiving a chemical peel.

  • Come to your appointment being plenty hydrated and at least 1-2 meals/snacks eaten so your blood draw goes smoothly. Lack of hydration may result in not being able to draw the blood.
  • Please do not show up with makeup on if possible- a makeup wipe will be provided if needed
  • Show up with an appropriate shirt to allow a blood draw, short sleeve shirt or a long sleeve that can be rolled up above elbow
  • Discontinue use of anti-inflammatory drugs (steroidal and non-steroidal) such as Aspirin, Motrin (or any other Ibuprofen drugs) at least 3 days to 1 week before your treatment. With PRF, we "want" inflammation this is one of the mechanisms of how PRF does its work. If you are or have been on systemic use of corticosteroids (steroids) within 2 weeks of treatment, I cannot treat you. Consult your physician for approval to discontinue the use of steroids and receive treatment.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise and sun and heat exposure for at least 3 days after your treatment.
  • It is normal to experience bruising, redness, itching, soreness, and swelling that may last 3-14 days following your procedure.

Pre- Appointment

  • Do NOT rinse off until the next morning to get optimal results from the growth factors. You may resume your skin care routine the following morning.
  • Do NOT use retinol/Vit A for 5-7 days before or after treatment
  • If a cold sore arises before your treatment, please reschedule ASAP as microneedling can not be performed with an active cold sore. If you are prone to cold sores, please call/text Parker at 208-273-8850 to see if starting an anti-viral medication called Valtrex should be taken to prevent cold sores.

Microneedling w/ PRF

  • Shower the night or morning before appointment. Please come in with a clean scalp with no products in (example: no hair spray, dry shampoo etc). You may shower the following morning to rinse off scalp.

Under Eyes/Other Parts of the Body:

  • Makeup can not be worn until the next day after the treatment.
  • Avoid lotions/face creams for 6 hours after treatment
  • After the treatment, you will be swollen and possibly asymmetrical- this is normal! Don't panic. This will subside within a few days
  • Longevity of EZ GEL PRF injections increases dramatically after the 2nd treatment. First treatment will have a few months of longevity, once you come back for the 2nd treatment, it should last for over a year!
  • After the series of PRF injections or EZ GEL injections, I recommend doing annual or bi annual touch ups to upkeep the results

**Please note, if you have excess skin under the eyes or "eye bags" this may not be the best treatment for you. Collagen can only tighten and strengthen the skin so much! Having excess skin usually requires a laser to tighten the skin or surgical removal of excess skin called a "lower lid blepharoplasty". PRF injections can help improve skin bags, but will never fully correct it.

  • 2 weeks prior to the treatment
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning.
  • Application of a mineral SPF 30+ sunscreen on treatment area(s).
  • Use additional sun protective measures such as wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and sun protective clothing.
  • 1 week prior to the treatment
  •  Discontinue exfoliating products (washes, scrubs, Retin A).
  • Start using HA serum (recommended by provider) to maintain high levels of moisture in the skin.

Day of treatment

  • Treatment area should be clean and free from any make-up or skincare products.
  • Do not use mascara or wear contact lenses.
  • Men need to shave treatment area one day prior to procedure.
  • Women will need to shave one day prior to vaginal rejuvenation treatment.

Pre- Appointment

  • First 24 hours
  • You may experience a sensation of warmth (like a sunburn) and skin will appear pink to red in color.
  • Always wash hands with antibacterial soap before touching or cleaning the treatment area.
  • Keep a thin layer of HA serum on at all times (reapply as needed) to avoid skin from drying out.
  •  Protect skin from sun exposure.
  • If prescribed medication, please follow directions.
Day 2-5: Before complete peeling or flaking
  • Switch from HA serum to Aquaphor to hydrate skin.
  •  The skin may darken from pink or red to a “bronzed”-like appearance 3-5 days after treatment. This is likely with high-energy procedures and will peel or flake off.
  • It is important that the treated skin is left in place until it is ready to peel or flake. DO NOT PICK! Picking may result in an infection or scar.
  • The treated skin will generally peel or flake within 2-5 days. The old skin will come off with washing.
  • As skin peels or flakes, there may be some areas that are lighter or darker. This should even out over time.
After peeling or flaking
  •  Stop using Aquaphor when peeling or flaking is complete.
  • Resume the use of mineral SPF 30+ sunscreen to decrease the possibility of hyperpigmentation.
  • New skin will have formed underneath the layer of treated skin and will need to be handled gently.
  • It is normal for skin to have lighter and darker areas in the first few weeks as it heals. These are most often temporary and fade quickly, though in rare circumstances this can take up to 6 months.
  • It will generally be 2-10 days after treatment before you can shave, depending on energy settings used during the procedure. Ask your provider when you can return to normal activities.
